COMPLETION STANDARDS: In order to qualify for the Instrument Rating, the pilot must demonstrate through written, oral, and practical examination, that he/ she meets the knowledge, skill, and experience requirements specified in FAR Part 61 of the Federal Regulations.
NOTE: Credit will be given for previous flight training. The cost will be less with the instrument written test passed. The times listed above are best estimates based on the MINIMUM hourly training requirements as specified by the appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations. Depending on personal learning ability individual pilots may require more time to gain the proficiency to pass a particular flight test.
